#1 Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled intern to assist in computational modeling and simulation projects involving fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and electromagnetics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable running OpenFOAM simulations on their local machine and have a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Set up, run, and analyze simulations using OpenFOAM or related CFD tools.
- Assist in developing or refining numerical models for multiphysics problems.
- Post-process simulation data and generate meaningful insights or visualizations.
- Collaborate with team members to discuss results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings.
Required Skills
- Ability to install and run OpenFOAM on a local PC (Linux preferred).
- Strong understanding of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer.
- Familiarity with Electromagnetics or Multiphysics coupling is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
- Prior exposure to numerical methods or simulation tools will be advantageous.
